Thanks to the very kind and generous people who donated on Giving Tuesday! We raised $575, which will help with our Scout scholarship next year. We are also grateful for everyone who helped spread the word through their likes and shares during the event. Hopefully more people are aware of what we do.
This year’s trivia night will be at BISHOP DUBOURG HIGH SCHOOL.
The game starts at 7:00, you can arrive at 6:15.
There will be a silent auction, 50/50 drawing, games and more. Start assembling your team today. Registration will open in late December. Stay tuned for details.

The Scholarship Foundation participated in the Affton-Lemay community Parade on Saturday, Sept. 17. What a beautiful day and a great turn out from the people in Affton. We handed out t-shirts and stickers and had some good ol’ rock-n-roll playing on the float.
Slamapalooza 2022 was another huge success! It was an absolutely beautiful summer night, lots of visitors, fun games for kids, delicious food, and great music. We were blessed to raise over $7000 toward next year’s scholarships. Each year we give away $22, 750 to help kids go to Catholic high schools in the St. Louis area. Thanks to all who helped make it a success!
We announced this year’s recipients at the Holy Cross Academy awards ceremony on May 20, as all three students attend school there.
This year’s Super Scholarship goes to Henry Perry. The runner-up scholarship goes to Bryce Jones. And the Men’s Club Boy Scout Scholarship goes to Adam Kuhnert. We are so happy to award scholarships to these young men and wish them much success at their high schools!
Slamapalooza is July 30, 2022.
Preparations are wrapping up and we are ready for this year’s blockbuster event. We will be back the the grove at Holy Cross Academy’s Early Childhood Education campus (formerly St. Dominic Savio school) at 7748 Mackenzie Rd., 63123.
Mass in the grass starts at 4 p.m. Announcements and food sales follow at 5, then music by Rosewood and fun.
There will be games, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk for the kids to enjoy, and our youth to play with them.
We will have food, beverages, and snow cones for purchase, and great Slamapalooza apparel on sale (see pictures below). Plus 16 raffle items, and a hand-built cornhole game for auction as well as a firepit/2 camp chairs with our logo/a logo blanket and can koozies/and a cooler to be auctioned. The live auction and raffle winners will be at 7:45, followed by the Rosewood finale.
Ladies v-neck shirts and mens are $25. Long sleeve unisex tees are $30. Hoodies are $50. Hats are $20.

The James J. Slama Scholarship Foundation is happy to participate in Give STL Day. Last year’s event raised over $2000 toward scholarships. Give STL Day 2022 is on May 5. Donations accepted through midnight on this date.
